The Highland Park Elementary Art Program is designed to support district guidelines, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, art principles and elements, along with enhancing the confidence of the student through art production. Each student will gain the knowledge of art techniques, application and art appreciation through art history. Each grade level builds on the previous grade level skills and knowledge with an introduction to more challenging concepts.
We believe all people & all children can create and feel good about creating artworks. Exposure to multiple materials and media will give the students tools to develop a passion for their own style of art.
Please check out our grade level art photo galleries from time to time and see what amazing artwork our students are creating!!
